RO:<\/strong> Itzhak Navon, al cincilea pre\u0219edinte al Israelului, provenea din una dintre cele mai vechi familii de evrei sefarzi. Vorbea \u0219ase limbi. \u00centre anii 1978 \u0219i 1983 a de\u021binut func\u021bia de pre\u0219edinte al Israelului. A fost deputat \u00een Knesset timp de 28 de ani, viceprim-ministru \u0219i ministru al educa\u021biei. A fost scriitor \u0219i dramaturg, autorul piesei «Bustan Sefardi» («Gr\u0103dina spaniol\u0103») care prezint\u0103 via\u021ba \u0219i cultura evreilor sefarzi din Ierusalim.<\/p>\n

Dup\u0103 ce s-a retras din via\u021ba politic\u0103 \u00een 1992, s-a implicat \u00een activit\u0103\u021bi sociale. Timp \u00eendelungat, Navon a condus consiliul public al rezerva\u021biei «Neot Kedumim», unde sunt cultivate plante men\u021bionate \u00een Biblie (Tanah) \u0219i \u00een Talmud, a fost pre\u0219edinte al consiliului de administra\u021bie al Academiei de Muzic\u0103 \u0219i Balet din Ierusalim, al Autorit\u0103\u021bii Na\u021bionale pentru Cultura limbii ladino \u0219i a altor organiza\u021bii publice.<\/p>\n

Dar \u00een afara acestor activit\u0103\u021bi, Navon a fost \u0219i o personalitate creativ\u0103 remarcabil\u0103. A publicat o colec\u021bie de poezii intitulat\u0103 «Romancero Sefardi» («Romancero spaniol»), a scris mai multe povestiri \u00een stilul Agadei talmudice \u0219i textul piesei muzicale «Bustan Sefardi» («Gr\u0103dina spaniol\u0103») despre via\u021ba \u0219i cultura familiilor sefarde din Ierusalim, pus\u0103 \u00een scen\u0103 la Teatrul Habima.
\nNumele lui Itzhak Navon a fost atribuit str\u0103zilor din Ierusalim, Modi\u2019in \u0219i din multe alte ora\u0219e israeliene, precum \u0219i g\u0103rii subterane din Ierusalim, inaugurat\u0103 \u00een 2018.<\/p>\n
